Description

成立於1882年，產自位於英國東南方Essex，傳說中自2000多年前的古羅馬時代即在此製鹽。目前由Osbrone家族延續著祖先遺留下來的傳統繼續經營，為英國碩果僅存的四家製鹽廠之一。

瑪爾頓海鹽取自天然海水，不含任何的添加物，僅蘊含微量的海鹽元素如鎂或鈣，金字塔型薄片結晶的獨特外觀為其特徵，不帶一般鹽餘韻的苦味，能夠加強食材本身自然的特色。而顯著的「鹹味」代表僅需少量，就能帶出悠長的滋味，對於需要減少鹽分量攝取者是一大福音，也深受美食家與注重健康取向的消費者所喜愛！
